For Preschool
3 years – PreK
Our year-round theme is “play to learn” and we intend to keep that goal alive during the summer months. Our preschool children get to enjoy the themed weeks of the summer while doing age appropriate projects and activities. The advantage of camp at Redeemer CDC is continuous growth and learning. Additionally, special guests will visit throughout the summer (magicians, jugglers, firemen, etc.)
For Elementary School
Rising K – 6th
Elementary School kids get to explore our summer camp themes through hands-on experiences at the CDC and out in the community. Throughout the summer the children will go on field trips and enjoy some of the fun activities that Richmond has to offer. Weekly trips to the neighborhood pool will be offered, as well as, designated afternoon reading time.

Comforted at Once
My daughter “Jackie” started with Redeemer on her first day of Kindergarten. Jackie had only stayed with her grandmother. She was one of 2 students that participated that year. Once my husband and I met with Kathy we were relieved, we were comforted at once. With anything new, it’s always an adjustment. The Redeemer Staff understood and knew exactly how to help her adjust. Redeemer works well with the Shenandoah Association. My daughter is on the swim team and plays tennis as well. She can visit the pool during summer and attend tennis lessons through summer camp. She also attended Vacation Bible School and LOVED IT!!!
We are so pleased to see the program growing. Our daughter is now in the 2nd grade and has made so many friends. She is learning and thriving. We love our community. We love Redeemer and more importantly she loves Redeemer and everyone there! Thank you all for being there for our family!
