Director’s Corner
Dear Redeemer Families,
As our summer camp comes to a close, I can’t believe we are about to embark on our ’23-’24 school year. Before we know it, Christmas will be here and we will be ringing in the new year!
But I’m getting ahead of myself! Let’s enjoy the present and all the fun to come in the final weeks of summer camp.
The elementary-aged classes have a couple more field trips lined up for the next few weeks. One of their favorites is the trip to Pepe’s where they get to make their own tacos! Then we end the summer with a final visit from the Kona Ice truck for the entire school!
A few important dates to keep in mind:
– August 17th: last day of summer camp
– August 18th: CDC Closed for Staff Development Day
– August 21st: First Day of School
I hope everyone enjoys these last few weeks of summer! I know I will!
Blessings,
Kathy Bakken
