Director’s Corner
Dear Parents,
Summer is off to a very active start! We’ve celebrated its arrival, traveled to the tropics with the nature lady and gone under the sea to explore the fish. Now, we are in the midst of patriotic palooza. Unfortunately, this comes with a bit of sad news. We were really hoping to be able to pick up our annual tradition of the 4th of July Performance, once again. It truly is the best show of the year and it’s one that had to be put on pause during the pandemic. Unfortunately, we are not quite out of our COVID season yet. And due to the high number of cases and exposures, we thought it best to cancel the in-person performance.
Each of you will receive a video of your child’s performance through Brightwheel on July 1. We hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoy preparing and practicing for you! Please remember to pick up your children by noon that day. We will close early for the holiday weekend. If you decide not to bring your child for the half-day please let your teacher know so that we can plan for staffing appropriately.
As for future dates to remember for the 2022-2023 school year, I’m working on that calendar now. I hope to have something for your in the next few weeks!
As
Have a safe and fun 4th!
