Director’s Corner
Dear Redeemer Families,
I hope everyone had a wonderful break with their loved ones during the Independence Day holiday! I sure know I did!
Now we’re ready to get back into summer camp fun! We’ve already had alpacas and a petting zoo visit! They were a big hit with the children (and teachers too)! So much so they’ll be back again next year! 🙂
We’re excited finish out the rest of summer camp with some exciting events:
– Vacation Bible School – Stellar Outer Space (July 24-28)
– another visit from Kona Ice
– a field trip to Pepe’s (for the elementary kids)
– another visit from our favorite guitarist – Jeff Beatman
With the new school year right around the corner, we have a few dates to keep in mind:
– August 2nd – Redeemer CDC closes by 5PM for a staff meeting
– August 18th – Redeemer CDC will be closed for a staff development day
– August 21st – the official first day of the school
– September 1st – Redeemer CDC closes by NOON
– September 4th – Redeemer CDC closed for Labor Day
I hope everyone soaks up as much summer as they can before it comes to an end! 🙂
Blessings,
Kathy Bakken
