Director’s Corner
Dear Parents,
The coming months will be full of fun and adventure. And as the summer gets underway, we wanted to remind you that, as of June 6th, you will now be allowed back into the building to pick up your children. You will still have the option of dropping off your children at the door in the morning, but we also wanted to extend the opportunity for you to go into the classroom if you would like to. Please remember not to linger too long in the morning. As much as the teachers will want to chat with you, it’s best that they attend to the children. It’s important to note that we will not have runners in the afternoon so you will have to pick your child up in the classroom unless you’ve made prior arrangements. If you want a longer meeting with your child’s teacher, we would be happy to set that up for a scheduled time.
Our staff has been working hard to get ready for this summer and we cannot wait to enjoy all of the fun activities that are planned in the month of June. Mark your calendars now for our 4th of July Celebration. It is a time-honored tradition at Redeemer and something you will not want to miss!
Blessings,
Kathy Bakken

A MAYmont Fieldtrip
In May the 3’s took a fun field trip to Maymont Park. They got to explore nature and visit with some of the animals. Thanks to all of the parents who came along to help. Getting outside of the classroom to explore some of the great activities Richmond has to offer is always a treat! Here are a few pictures of the day.
SUMMER THEMES
It may not officially become summer until June 21st but, who are we kidding, summer is well under way. We are so excited for what is shaping up to be one of the best summers we have had in a long time. Teachers have planned exciting activities for each themed week. Pay close attention to Brightwheel as there will be instructions for water days, Kona Ice Days and everything in between. School is out and now the fun begins! Here are the themes we have planned for June:
