The Feelings Corner
Our littles have lots of feelings. Sometimes BIG feelings. Here’s a space for tips and ideas to help with those feelings.
The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) has provided guidelines and recommendations regarding screen time and its impact on children’s well-being. The AAP has suggested the following guidelines for parents:
Limit Screen Time: Set age-appropriate limits on screen time.
Quality Content: Ensure content is educational and suitable for the child’s age.
Co-Viewing: Co-view and co-play with your child on screens.
Balanced Lifestyle: Maintain a balanced life with physical activity, good sleep, and face-to-face interactions.
Tech-Free Zones: Create areas in your home without screens for family interaction and sleep.
Model Good Behavior: Be a positive screen time role model for your child.
